🏡 Background: It was the end of 2018 & were happy to open our second co-working space named Campus City. This one was, at that time, the biggest co-working space in Slovakia.
⚠️ Challenge: In this huge co-working space we had pretty much enough company clients to join us by the start. But what about those 60+ empty hotdesk and fixdesk tables waiting to be occupied?!
💡 Solution: just think, where are all those freelancers and small businesses working, when they're not already in Campus? That was our consumer insight.
We were aiming to communicate the negative consequences of their style of work - from home, café or some shady office - and let them try our space for free. Watch the result in our in-house-made digital video campaign.
The community was our most valuable asset so it became part of our brand. We knew that once you sense the community, once you attend some event in one of our spaces. You want to become a part of that community. So we started to showcase them!
You have to be a marketing MacGyver as a digital marketing manager for a small startup. My daily challenges were mainly setting up sales funnels, landing pages, Google network and social media ads. Sending newsletters and on top of that - building campaigns. We have been through big blockchain hackathons, 6-month re-branding project and opening new spaces. Campus gave me a strong digital background.
